19-year-old Denver Man Killed by Out of Control Landscaping Truck | Denver Trucking Accident Lawyer

According to the Denver Post, a 19 year-old man has died after being hit by an out of control landscaping truck on May 20th. The young Denver man was sitting with his friend on a playground bench in Jefferson County, when the driver of the landscaping truck lost control of his truck and struck the bench. According to the Colorado State Patrol, the truck driver failed to complete a left turn and ran off the road and into the unfortunate young man. At this time charges have not been filed.

Even when driven by professional truck drivers, these large, heavy trucks also carry a risk of causing trucking accidents, which can lead to catastrophic injuries. Denver truck accident attorneys have long advocated for better, more consistent truck-safety enforcement measures to reduce the number and seriousness of such crashes, yet much work remains to be done.
