According to 9NEWS, a 91-year-old Denver woman, Marjorie Ewers, caused a crash that killed a person driving a scooter. The driver of the scooter (Deborah Hudes, 53) was struck from behind while she was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Quebec and 8th Street and died on the scene. Ewers was cited with careless driving resulting in death and is set to appear in court on September 30.
Dangerous Intersections in DenverAccording to another 9NEWS.com report, the most dangerous intersection in Denver for accidents that involved motor vehicles and pedestrians was at Colfax and Broadway. From 2010 to 2012, there were five injuries that resulted from a total of eleven accidents at this particular intersection.
