As reported by KDVR Fox31 News, a pregnant woman and her husband escaped with only minor injuries when their car collided with a school bus in Denver on April 19th, 2011. The school bus accident occurred at the intersection of 8th Avenue and Zuni when the bus driver turned in front of the subcompact car carrying the unidentified couple.
The car lodged under the rear of the bus by force of the collision, yet the six-months-pregnant woman was miraculously uninjured, and the father-to-be suffered only cuts to the head and forearm. An accident in Boulder County on Sunday killed a 52-year-old husband and father, Greg Thorne, and left his wife and daughter injured. The Denver Post

Street near Colorado Highway 7. A vehicle heading northbound “crossed over the center line and collided” with Thorne’s vehicle. Charles Nelson Douglas will spend the next 12 years of his life in prison for a crash that critically injured a Commerce City police officer in 2003. The officer, Juan Lopez, was directing traffic at Colorado 76 and 88th

A tractor-trailer crash on I-70 Monday night has resulted in the driver being arrested for suspicion of drunk driving. According to 9News

A young boy wandered onto a busy highway in Colorado Springs and was struck and killed by a car. The Denver Post
is reporting that the incident occurred at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 24 near Garret Road. Police Sergeant Steven Biscaro says it is still unclear how the boy made it onto the highway. The highway was reduced to one lane of traffic following the accident.

Two women were killed Saturday afternoon at the Greeley Mall. According to 9News
, the woman were killed when a pick-up truck crashed through a store front and struck both women. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. Witnesses at the scene said it appeared that the driver of the pick-up truck was unconscious when the accident happened. Greeley Police Cpt. Juan Cruz says the driver is cooperating with police, and they do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor. “At this point, it could be anything from medical to mechanical to who knows what else,” Cruz said.
