The Denver Post reported that around 7:40a.m, at the intersection of Alameda and Havana, a Ford Explorer was traveling southbound and did not notice the cars stopped at the intersection waiting at a red light. The Explorer carrying a driver and three kids swerved to the left to avoid hitting the line of cars and instead side swiped a Honda Accord traveling in the opposite direction. This impact caused the Explorer to roll and caused injuries to all of the passengers inside. The children were all taken to local hospitals and it is not yet clear if they were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.
